What is an apostille?

An apostille is an official government signature on a notarized document that confirms the authenticity of the document and its translation. This service is required for using a document abroad, allowing it to be recognized as valid and legitimate in another country.

If you reside in Tel Aviv or Ashdod and need an apostille for your documents, you can contact our notary. We provide qualified and professional assistance in obtaining an apostille for your documents. Our specialists have extensive experience in this field and can provide you with the necessary support quickly and efficiently.

Why might you need an apostille from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel?

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel apostilles documents issued by state authorities within Israel.

The need for apostilling documents issued by the state arises for Israeli citizens when enrolling in educational institutions, obtaining work visas, getting married or divorced, and other situations.

The apostille procedure for documents issued by state authorities is required under international conventions, meaning that an Israeli state document is legalized through apostilling by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel.

Which official documents are legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

  • Birth certificate
  • Marriage certificate
  • Divorce certificate
  • Citizenship certificate
  • Official extracts
  • Court decisions
  • Academic diplomas
  • High school diploma
  • Criminal record certificate
  • Inheritance decisions

It is important to note that for apostilling at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, only original documents certified by a state authority need to be provided, and the state fee must also be paid.

We are ready to assist our clients in the shortest possible time and provide high-quality notarial services at prices that do not exceed the rates set by Israeli legislation.
